When I was seven, I received a little plastic cartoon film camera. I didn’t actually know how to use a film camera, and it never held a real roll of film. Its tiny viewfinder was blurry and small, yet I loved that camera dearly. Now, I’ve forgotten what color it was or which animal was painted on it, but the feeling of pressing the shutter and winding the film — click, click — remains vivid in my memory. That sound was, to me, the most enchanting in the world.

The joy it gave me stayed with me, and as I grew older, it took root and flourished. I finally understood that I would always embrace this joy, and I would continue to capture it — the laughter, the tears, the love, the memories, and everything in between.

Over the years, I’ve developed a passion for creating personalized stories that reflect each person’s unique character. I love capturing authentic, real-life moments, but I apply my own touch to transform them into more narrative, story-driven images. In China, I held a solo exhibition titled Floating Mediums, exploring the subtle emotions between people. My work, which often combines truth and artistry, has been selected multiple times for Vogue. These experiences taught me to observe and interpret human emotion deeply, and they continue to guide me in capturing authentic, heartfelt moments through my photography.
